Our Faber steel HDG (Hot Dipped Galvanized) scuba cylinder is galvanized for long life. The cylinder is made by Faber and the DIN/Yoke convertible valve by Blue Steel for use with any regulator type. The benefit of a steel cylinder - it is more negative when filled and less positively buoyant when emply, allowing you to remove up to 5 lbs of lead.

All Blue Steel/Faber cylinders come with Faber’s exclusive and proprietary “Phosphatized” treated internal surface, which aids in preventing internal flash rust or corrosion if the cylinders are maintained properly and not contaminated with oils or moisture during the filling process.

The 100CF Steel HP cylinder is shipped with silver painted surface.
